My favourite county (I’m biased, of course) but I’m thrilled to be playing a series of Summer concerts this year in Derbyshire parks, courtesy of Derby Jazz. One is particularly close to my heart, Queen’s Park in Chesterfield where I’ve spend many a happy hour, but the others are equally as lovely. Plus it means I get to work with some of my favourite players such as Pat Sprakes, guitar; Mike Green/Andy Tytherleigh, double bass; Jon Richmond/Caz Boaden, drums.
